How Vinney started
Vinney Chopra came to America with $7 dollars in his pocket and a dream. He is an engineer from India 40 years back and he wanted to finish his MBA at the United States. His mom didn’t want him to go to the U.S., but he knew he had to. His uncle at Maryland supported him while he was studying at George Washington University. During this time, Vinney had to sell Bibles and educational books and joined a motivational speaking group with fundraising. He experienced failure when he was sales agent but Vinney didn’t stop. He used his experiences to continue absorbing as much knowledge as he coul . This proved to be beneficial later on when he started investing in real estate.
Vinney Today
Today, hye manages a $172-million dollar portfolio of multifamily properties. He’s done over 26 syndications and has over 3,100 apartments under management.
The great thing about Vinney is that he can raise $6 to $10 Million dollars without breaking a sweat, but he remains humble and friendly and willing to share how he does it.
Vinney also shares the return-on-investment he shoots for with his investors, why he started his own property management company and the people and books who have influenced his thinking in a positive way.
